  17. I recently purchased a used Intel Modem. It works fine except for a 
  18. quirk: when I connect with kermit, the AT commands are invidible to me.
  19. If I use "set terminal echo local" on kermit, then I get double letters
  20. when I do connect.

  22. I dont' have the manual to check for this, but a single sheet accompanying
  23. the software says that the WINFAX software turns the echo off when it 
  24. exits. However, Since I'm not using this software, I can't fix the problem
  25. this way.

  27. does anyone know how to enable the echo of the AT commands without doubling
  28. the echo after the connection is made. (I'm using kermit).
